About Us

We are the daughters of the moon, caretakers of volcanoes, sisters of the lake.

Raised in the small Mayan village of San Marcos La Laguna on the shores of the beautiful Lake Atitlan in the mountains of western Guatemala. We are indigenous Mayan sisters, with a big dream! Let us tell you what it is.

For us is a sacred work.

Guatemala is full of colors, culture, flavors, but above all, respect for our mother earth.

Our mission is to provide a dignified living wage to Mayan single mothers in San Marcos La Laguna, and introduce Mayan culture to the world. We also offer job opportunities to those in San Marcos with disabilities.
  
Our team is made up of more than 10 Mayan women who, with love and dedication, work cacao in a traditional and sacred way. It is not just peeling cacao, it is a prayer that we make to the Gods, so that this cacao reaches you in a divine way. The Drink of the Gods! 
 

100% Pure Cacao from Guatemala.

Our native cacao beans are sourced directly from our farmers in a remote village in Alta Verapaz where our cacao is organically grown, harvested, fermented and dried before being transported to San Marcos La Laguna.

Our team of Mayan mothers in San Marcos then roast, hand-peel and grind the cacao beans before they are molded into blocks of 100% pure cacao paste.

We sell in different presentations in a simple, tasteful and recycling packaging.
